Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults only Patient Volume / Census : TBD Admissions : Average 0 admissions while on call Rounding : Included (inpatient follow-ups) Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Infectious Disease Consults No. of Beds in Department : 1100 Trauma Level : Level I EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : TBD Specialty Backup Available : TBD Support Staff Available : RNs, Practice Manager Reason for Coverage : Turnover Vacancy Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Travel Details : Airfare : Economy cabin, 1 bag (cap applies) Lodging : Up to $150 / night before taxes / fees Mileage : IRS rate Rental Car : Economy class (unless pre-approved) Licenses : Active Ohio license required Board : Board Certified in Infectious Disease DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Familiarity with Epic EMR; ability to work solo Address new consults and follow up on inpatients at Miami Valley Hospital Respond to in-house and telephone calls, including emergency department and admitted patient inquiries Collaborate with RN triage service for established patients calling in Adhere to business casual dress code; bring stethoscope
