About The Position
- Performs comprehensive and problem focused history and physical exams, interprets and correlates laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
- Interprets and correlates subjective and objective data to formulate a differential diagnose and establish a working diagnosis.
- Formulates a treatment plan for Orthopedic problems within scope of practice. Implements therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate.
- Exercises judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising Orthopedic surgeon or other health care professionals.
- Orders, collects, and performs appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures, and studies including but not limited to blood and tissue specimens.
- Orders or performs diagnostic studies such as, but not limited to, EMG, electrocardiogram, compartment pressure measurements, and x-ray examinations including special xray examinations CT, MRI, and bone scans etc.

Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA) - REQUIREDOregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIREDDoes the provider have ties to Oregon - i.e. family in the area or has lived in OR at some point? (note in "Additional Submission Details") - REQUIREDMinimum of 2 years work experience as inpatient Orthopedic PA (not including training) - HIGHLY PREFERREDBenefits
