Job Description
This Position is responsible for leading the Process Engineering Department and supervising our Process Engineers while they support the production of all product lines to improve quality, output, and efficiency while decreasing waste. This team is also responsible for improving process stabilization and investigating cost reduction initiatives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Report progress and completion of process improvement initiatives and projects to Plant Manager
- Initiate and Manage processes to improve our existing processes’ quality, stability and manufacturing costs, as well as checking on the long term effectiveness and benefits of enacted measures.
- Communicate and support Department Managers in the implementation of newly developed continuous improvement adjustments.
- Investigate and Identify issues related to waste, efficiency and develop methods to improve them.
- Lead and assist in failure analysis and troubleshooting of non-conforming material to determine root cause and corrective action plans.
- Organize projects and work flow to align with tasks and goals set by the Plant Manager.
- Produce and present data findings formally and informally to relevant stakeholders.
- Review existing SOPs and introduce improvements as identified.
- Advocate and develop 6S Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain and promote a Clean and Safe working environment. Enforcing strict safety guidelines, KTP policies, practices and standards of conduct.

- Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet departmental needs.

Experience and Education
BS degree in technical engineering field with 5 years of related experience.2+yrs leading a group of Process Engineers or in a Sr role of Process Improvement Project ManagerLean Six Sigma certification, Lean Management- and continuous improvement experience are a plusProficient computer literacy with Advanced knowledge in general applications; word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and SAP systems.Experience in high speed manufacturing environment required.Experience with gravure, offset, flexographic, silk screen, and digital printing technologies and processes a plus
