Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to provide specialized education in a self-contained classroom serving high school students with hearing impairments and additional learning needs. This contract position spans the current school year.

Responsibilities include :

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique munication and learning requirements.
• Delivering direct instruction in core academic subjects using differentiated strategies, accessible formats, and visual supports to optimize student engagement.
• Utilizing American Sign Language (ASL) and other munication methods to facilitate full access to instruction and promote interaction within the classroom.
• Collaborating with support staff and families to foster a positive learning environment.
