Full Sr. Registrar In Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a Full Sr. Registrar in our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Will perform a variety of secretarial, clerical, and receptionist duties to support the daily operations of the Mental Health Clinic. This role involves frequent patient interactions and requires professionalism, discretion, and compassion. In addition, will collaborate with clinical and billing teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation. Including supporting the correct use of CPT, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers, reviewing clinical documentation for completeness and monitoring billing denials to improve coding accuracy and optimize reimbursement. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in healthcare or behavioral health setting. Schedule 9 : 30AM-5 : 30PM

Key Responsibilities :

Administrative & Secretarial Duties :

• Perform receptionist duties including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing intake paperwork.
• Maintain organized and accurate patient records, ensuring timely filing.
• Coordinate communication between patients, clinicians, and administrative staff.
• Assist in managing provider schedules.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail, faxes, emails).
