Security Team Leader

Performs as the Team Leader in the Security Department. Provides direction to the staff on a shift. Utilizes knowledge, security expertise, support, and education to the staff to assure optimum performance of the Security department. The Team Leader is the first line of support to the staff performing their duties.

Minimum Qualifications If Hired Prior To September 1, 2023 :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must attain TASER user certification within one year.
• Valid Drivers License is required and must be maintained during employment period.
• Satisfactory completion of the training requirements for an armed security officer is required.
• ACT 235 certification must be obtained before initial employment into this position and maintained thereafter.
• Satisfactory completion of all departmental Lethal Weapon Training and course work.
• Obtain certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire date.
• Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check.
