Assistant Nurse Manager, RN
Schedule : 7am-3 : 30pm, Full-Time, Variable Shifts
Department : Medical Surgical Unit
Location : Kernersville Medical Center - Kernersville, NC
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a 46-bed medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides leadership to nursing staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience : Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
Licensure / Certification : Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit / Dept Specific Required Certifications, required.
Additional Skills (required) : Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
