• Summary

As a Line Cook at The Blackboard Congamond, you will play an essential role in our kitchen team, preparing delicious meals that enhance our guests' dining experience. This position is vital to maintaining our reputation for quality food and service in the heart of our community.

• Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
• Participate in menu planning and development of new dishes.
• Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
