About the role

As an early engineer on the SupplyWhy team, you’ll be poised to make a significant impact on the future of the product and the team. You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development, collaborating with other engineers and domain experts to develop and deploy enterprise‑scale multi‑agent systems. You’ll stay abreast of the latest advances in agentic systems and leverage best‑in‑class tooling and processes (including AI coding tools like Cursor) to ensure we’re continuously operating at the cutting edge. By joining on the ground floor, you’ll have the opportunity to partner closely with the founding team to shape the future of Supply Chain – a domain central to the global economy that has to‑date been underserved by the tech industry.

Must have

• Built agentic systems using LLMs
• Engineered robust backend services and APIs
• Developed prompt‑driven systems using frameworks like LangChain
• Optimized agent behavior via prompt engineering
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.)
• Familiarity with multi‑agent systems, orchestration patterns, memory management, and function / tool calling
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to optimize efficiency
• Hunger to learn and make an impact – you know how to learn and are undaunted by quickly moving technology; you’re excited to push boundaries and stretch
• Collaborative problem‑solving style – you have strong opinions weakly held; you tackle challenges with an “us against the problem” mindset
