The Ice Skating Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable skating environment by assisting guests, monitoring the ice, and responding promptly to any incidents or concerns. They also support smooth rink operations by coordinating with the team, attending briefings, performing basic ice maintenance, and contributing to a welcoming and festive atmosphere.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the ice skating area to maintain a safe environment for all guests and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and professionally.Assist guests on and off the ice, providing support and guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable skating experience.Move confidently across the rink to respond to issues or provide help, demonstrating strong skating skills.Keep the ice clear of obstacles and report any maintenance needs to maintain optimal skating conditions.Collaborate with the Skate Shop team and Lead to ensure smooth operations and communicate updates or concerns.Attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed about special events and specific guest needs.Handle guest interactions with a friendly attitude and promptly report incidents or concerns to the Skate Shop Lead.Follow uniform and safety protocols, including displaying ID badges, to maintain professionalism and security.Help create a warm and welcoming environment that contributes to a magical skating experience for all guests.QualificationsProficient in ice skating and able to assist guests safely on the rink.Demonstrates strong awareness of safety practices and takes a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.Delivers excellent customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude toward all guests.Capable of standing for long periods, skating continuously, and performing physical tasks on the ice.Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.Open to working a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.Must be able to lift 50lbs.
