Assembly Technician

Your tasks

• Assemble various types of valves (, ball, gate, butterfly, check, and safety relief valves) and actuation packages using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
• Testing and Calibration : Perform pressure testing, functional testing, and calibration of valves and components to verify performance, leak integrity, and compliance with standards. Use precision tools like gauges, micrometers, and calipers to measure tolerances.
• Inspection and Troubleshooting : Inspect valve components for defects, wear, or damage. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with valves, actuators, or instrumentation.
• Repair and Maintenance : Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble valves and related equipment. Replace defective parts and lubricate mechanical components to ensure optimal Documentation : Record test results, maintenance activities, and material usage on work orders, field service reports, or digital systems.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies, including drug and alcohol policies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, quality control, and production teams to improve assembly processes and resolve issues. Train or assist less experienced technicians as needed.
• Exhibit comfortability in shop or field environments.
