Position Summary
As the construction manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all the rebuild projects after restoration services have been completed. At ServiceMaster we value the utmost integrity, work ethic, and work quality. This role requires a high level of industry knowledge as well as the ability to adapt to the changing landscape of the insurance restoration industry.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and scope jobs onsiteDocument loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into the operating system / software.Writes reconstruction estimates using Xactimate estimating softwareCommunicates conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required softwareEstimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from adjuster and customerOversee operations of all construction projects, ensuring customer and client satisfaction.Schedule and oversee subcontractors and vendorsDevelop and maintain project schedules, monitoring completion timelines and budgetary requirements.Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and the scope of work.Performs final walk-through and addresses policyholder concerns through reconstruction processManage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.Qualifications
Proven experience as a Construction manager or similar role in the construction industryXactimate Level 2 or higherExperience and / or general knowledge of the insurance and restoration industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)Attention to detailStrong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodsBenefits
