Job Description

As a Commercial District Manager, you will be responsible for achieving team sales goals within a defined geographic area and the day-to-day activities of the field sales organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals.
  • Review and approve or reject sales agreements based on factors such as profitability.
  • May have direct selling responsibility in key accounts.
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives.
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue against target.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales channel coordination, accurate inventory forecasts and strategic pricing levels.

Qualifications

What we are looking for :

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years related experience.
  • Understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses.
  • Ability to manage the work of team members to optimize performance.
  • Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

  • The total compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $190,000 and will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.
