What You'll Do
As a Therapeutic Mentor , you will provide one-to-one structured support and therapeutic activities for children and adolescents with behavioral health challenges. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help youth achieve their treatment goals and thrive in their community.
Provide mentoring, modeling, and coaching in community, school, and home settingsReinforce skills and goals identified in treatment plans, supporting behavior change and personal growthCollaborate with clinicians, caregivers, and school staff to coordinate careServe as a positive role model and encourage achievement of individualized goalsSupport families in accessing resources and maintaining stability in the communityMaintain timely and accurate documentation including progress notes and treatment updatesParticipate in treatment planning, team meetings, and supervisionWho You Are
High School Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree requiredAt least 2 years of experience working with children required; experience with Serious Emotional Disturbance strongly preferredStrong mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with behavioral health diagnoses, coping skills, and community resourcesAbility to support diverse populations with cultural competence and compassionStrong organizational skills and ability to implement strategies for goal achievementValid driver's license and reliable vehicle requiredComfortable using word processing, email, and documentation systemsWe Hire for Purpose!
