Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of circulate and scrub experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the hospital Operating Room, covering a day / evening rotating schedule
  • Assignments include a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with shift options of 06 : 30-17 : 00, 06 : 30-19 : 00, and 10 : 30-20 : 30
  • Call and weekend shifts are required as needed
  • Case types include neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU / GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da Vinci), and oncology
  • EPIC is used for electronic charting and documentation
  • Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for various surgical cases
  • Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal outcomes
  • All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signature
  • Time off requests must be included with initial application
  • Former employees are eligible after a minimum 6-month break from the facility
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Holiday and weekend work may be required
  • No guaranteed specific shift pattern (such as 4x10s), flexibility is necessary

  • Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience required
  • BCLS certification is required
  • Circulate and scrub experience required
  • EPIC experience is required
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • At least 2 professional references required, with one from a supervisor or manager
