Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online CISSP tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1-on-1 CISSP tutoring online using the Live Learning Platform.
  • Provide personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Match with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.
  • Leverage tools such as the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, generate lessons, and improve engagement.
  • Be available for tutoring sessions and invoice for completed sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in CISSP with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Prior tutoring / teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.

    • Compensation and Expectations

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and can increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40 / hour with repeated sessions with the same student.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you'd like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
  • Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
  • Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances your sessions with real-time support and resources.
  • We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.
