• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio of 1 : 2
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs, with agency travelers floating first
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local travelers not accepted (60-mile radius)
• During hurricane season (June-November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours must be completed pre-start
• Work with special equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Care for adult and geriatric patients, primarily post open heart surgery patients
