Job descriptionAbility to accurately use measuring tools (Vernier caliper, dial indicator & tape measure). Mechanical background is considered an asset. Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations including fractions. Previous manual lathe and / or shop experience is considered an asset. Capacity to read & understand work orders, ask procedures, and follow technical instructions. The ability to MIG weld is considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Confident and positive demeanor. In-house training. Competitive Wages. Career Advancement Opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform mechanical repair work including but not limited to dismantling and reassembly of Driveshafts.
- Repair and modification of Driveshafts including but not limited to machining and balancing.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
