Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and infant care in a low to moderate volume Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously in a smaller department setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of both mother and baby care.

Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor monitoring effectively.

Provide nursing support and care during higher acuity / high-risk cases.

Float to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, or assisting roles as needed.

Ensure a collaborative and supportive environment for all patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP, Stable (preferred).
