As a Security Officer Healthcare Facility Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence
  • Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with healthcare staff as needed
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to site requirements
  • Support access control procedures and visitor management processes within the healthcare location
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed
  • What We're Looking For

  • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
