Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (HBHH) currently has an opening for PRN Outpatient Driver / MHT. The Outpatient Driver / MHT will report to the Director of Outpatient Services.

Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is an acute care psychiatric hospital offering comprehensive mental health programs and services for adolescents and adults.

Currently, Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is recruiting for an Outpatient Driver / MHT.

This position will be responsible for :

• Maintaining Outpatient questionnaires and directories
• Answering incoming and direct calls
• Assisting in admitting PHP / IOP patients
• Interacting positively and effectively with patients & guests
• Promoting a positive image of the Outpatient Services department and HBHH through communication with all departments, peers, patients, and guests
• Signing and receiving incoming mail
• Picking up & dropping off patients
• Inspecting the vehicle before and after each shift
• Able to drive for long periods of time; transport in an efficient and safe manner
• Ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Disinfecting equipment and van before and after each use
• Assisting clinical team
• Monitoring patients at all times
• Performing related duties as requested
