Senior Director Of Home Health

The Position

  • The Senior Director of Home Health will be responsible for the comprehensive administrative duties including the planning and implementation of strategies across all Home Health service sites for Winchester Medical Center (WMC) throughout the Virginia and West Virginia markets.
  • The Senior Director will oversee approximately 130+ FTEs including three direct reports while focusing on the stratification, development, and implementation of program proposals, operational efficiencies, and both short-and-long-term growth plans for the division to ensure continuous deliverance of 5-star patient care.
  • This leader must serve as the liaison to both internal and external stakeholders including staff, leadership, governing board, referral sources, state policymakers, and advisory groups.
  • The Senior Director will be responsible for fostering and maintaining community engagement including community education, service-related activating, and marketing strategies throughout the region.
  • The Senior Director will collaborate closely with business administrators, financial leaders, human resources, and support partners to ensure that caregivers, product lines, and operational performance are aligned with implemented quality care deliverables.
  • This leader will closely monitor industry trends and growth patterns to effectively ensure the accuracy of publicly reported information as it pertains to the alignment of both state and federal compliance and regulatory requirements throughout the industry.

Requirements

  • Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Active Virginia RN, PT, OT, and / or SLP license(s) are strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of healthcare leadership experience are required.
