Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. This is a contract position, ideal for someone with experience in logistics and order management. The role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in systems like SAP to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing.
Responsibilities :
- Enter purchase orders (POs) into SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Utilize manual Excel tools to manage and track POs as needed.
- Handle POs received via email and upload them to SAP while maintaining proper documentation.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) in Pennsylvania and Chicago to ensure seamless coordination of purchase orders.
- Adapt to working with non-integrated systems while maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of all processes.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues in purchase order entries and promptly communicate resolutions.
Requirements :
Prior experience in supply chain management or logistics-related roles.Knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) operations and processes.Proficiency in SAP for purchase order entry and updates.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and management.Experience with purchase order processes and logistics coordination.Ability to work effectively with non-integrated systems and tools.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills for email correspondence and collaboration with diverse teams.
