We're seeking a proactive, collaborative individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator & Technical Product Analyst focused on Vertex. The project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of Vertex Tax Technology projects, including system integrations with SAP and other enterprise applications. This role ensures effective coordination between business, IT and Vendor teams to deliver high-quality, on-time and compliant tax automation solutions. This role blends project coordination with technical product analysis to drive successful implementations and ongoing improvements.

What we're looking for
2+ years of relevant experience with Vertex or SAP ECC6 FI / CO or S / 4HANA Finance
Ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively within a team
Junior-level candidate who wants to learn matters related to Tax Technology
Strong written and verbal communication, plus a customer-focused mindset
Collaborative attitude to work cross-functionally with finance, IT, and business teams
Optional but valued : SAP certifications, hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)

Responsibilities
Quality & Testing Coordination
o Plan and track testing activities : test plans, test cases, and test data readiness
Change & Configuration Management
o Manage change requests, maintain change logs, and secure proper approvals
o Coordinate release planning, deployment windows, and rollback procedures; maintain baselines
Deployment & Release Readiness
o Prepare go-live checklists, cutover plans, and release notes; coordinate with IT ops and stakeholders
o Validate environment readiness (DEV / QA / PROD) and ensure dependencies are satisfied before go-live
Environment & Infrastructure Coordination
o Oversee provisioning and access to development, test, and production environments
o Collaborate with cloud / infra teams on environment configurations, data safety, and backups
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
o Maintain a clear communication plan; set expectations and manage stakeholder inputs
o Facilitate meetings with Cross- functional teams Tax , IT, Finance, and external consultants and document action items and decisions.
Compliance, Governance & Audit Readiness
o Ensure documentation and processes comply with internal governance and external regulations
Knowledge Management
o Maintain a centralized repository of project artifacts (Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent)
o Capture lessons learned and conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement
Quality, Reliability & Security
o Specify reliability targets, incident response readiness, and rollback plans
o Ensure compliance, data privacy, and security considerations are baked into design
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
o Maintain product documentation, API references, and integration guides
o Create playbooks for onboarding, migrations, and best practices
Lifecycle Management
o Manage product lifecycle from ideation to sunset, including sunset plans for outdated features
o Evaluate and retire deprecated APIs or interfaces with minimal disruption
