What We Are Looking For

• The ideal candidate will be capable of participating in business development activities to grow the low voltage telecommunications team at Lighthouse Electric.
• Certifications : Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification (A MUST), in good standing
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective.
• Up to date on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies and design / construction industry.
• In depth knowledge of structured copper and fiber optic cabling (voice & data). Familiarity with network topologies, and IP network protocols preferred
• Education : Bachelors Degree in Related Field Preferred
• Experience : 3+ years of relevant RCDD experience
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
