Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 10 Patient Ratios : 1 : 2-3 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge, staff RN, US, ORT Type of equipment : Chorometric fetal monitor, alaris IV pump Documentation system : Meditech, CPN Scheduling requirements : 3, 12 hour day shifts Floating policy : Within Women's Services only Patient Experience requirements : Respectful, empathetic, compassionate Hospital Specifics- Certifications : Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, ACLS, STABLE Hiring profile Requested Skill Set : Must have : at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery Advanced skills needed : High risk OB, management of hypertensive crisis, management of diabetic moms, management of Post-Partum Hemorrhage. Procedures performed on unit : IUPC placement, FSE placement, epidurals, c / sect Certifications Required : Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, ACLS, STABLE Dress Code : (Required uniform) Navy blue scrubs Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
