We are looking for an experienced RN AD ON to Join Our Team!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
- Graduate of approved nursing school required. BSN preferred
- minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in long term care
- Strong knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid / Joint Commission guidelines required
- Must be computer literate. Knowledge of EMR required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides guidance and direction to ancillary staff in both clinical and personnel issuesAssist staff in assessing patient / resident status related to medical issues, social psychological and spiritual issuesEnsures that sufficient staff is available to meet the clinical needs of the patients / residents of clinical requirements of the patients / residents.Review perspective admissions if required for determination of needs. Conducts tours for perspective admissions and familiesEnsures that staff abides by the principles and techniques of infection control and safetyInvestigates accidents and incidents related to patients / residents, staff or visitors and provides first aid and follow up as indicatedInvestigates abuse allegations and reports such immediately to the DON / Administrator for follow upPerforms duties of charge nurse is requiredPerforms daily rounds of all patients / residents in facilityReviews assessments on patients / residents in the facility on a quarterly basis. Includes skin, falls, SR, B&B, elopement, etc..Ensures all documents are accurate and up to date
