Job Overview
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping customers find the perfect vehicle to suit their needs. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire car-buying process, from initial inquiry to final delivery. Your expertise in automotive sales and exceptional customer service skills will be crucial in building lasting relationships with our clients and driving sales success.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and identify their automotive needs through effective questioning and listening.
- Provide detailed information about vehicles, features, and financing options, ensuring a comprehensive understanding for the customer.
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting key selling points and unique features.
- Manage the sales process from start to finish, including negotiating prices and preparing sales paperwork.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through follow-up communications and inquiries.
- Keep informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position vehicles.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to store performance.
- Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and personal workspace to promote a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer service is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics and technology is beneficial.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management software is preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.What We Offer
