Physician - Nocturnist

Nocturnist Physician Opportunity

Ascension Wisconsin is looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for our Nocturnist Department.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

Position highlights include :

• No. of admits : expect about 5-9 admits per provider / per night - 2 docs at CSM, 1 at CSO
• Well-supported team-based practice
• Great working relationship with PCPs, ED, nursing and ancillary staff
• Collegal Hospitalist Team comprised of 28 physicians
• Comprehensive specialist support at both locations
• EMR is EPIC
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine with strong IM training)
• Procedures optional, not required
• Highly competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities include : evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, recommending, participating in, and working to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients, accepting patient referrals from other physicians, acting as admitting, attending, and / or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, and participating in academic programs as requested.
