As the Facilities & Utilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the catalyst who transforms reactive fixes into proactive reliability—building a culture where every mechanic can diagnose a PLC hiccup, every PM is done right the first time, and every action supports food safety.

How you'll make an impact

  • Reliability first : Evaluate facility, manufacturing, and support systems to prevent downtime; initiate and execute improvements.
  • Team growth : Coach technicians on troubleshooting methods and professional conduct; mentor for career advancement.
  • Program excellence : Expand Preventive / Predictive Maintenance using the CMMS to manage work orders, purchasing, inventory, and asset history.
  • Automation mastery : Resolve issues across PCs, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
  • Electrical depth : Lead diagnostics for power distribution, motor controls, VFDs, servo systems, and robotics.
  • Packaging and process : Troubleshoot automated packaging lines and process equipment (pumps, valves, meters, mixers).
  • Core utilities : Maintain and troubleshoot steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration systems.
  • Technical literacy : Read and apply electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Food safety leadership : Uphold corporate standards for food safety, culture, quality, and sanitation; ensure clean, safe, contamination-free work.
  • Safety culture : As a frontline leader, make safety non-negotiable and visible in daily routines.

Food safety stewardship

  • Model highest-quality manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Ken’s Food Safety and GMP policies.
  • Verify work is performed safely and hygienically; prevent contamination.
  • Mandate reporting of suspicious activities anywhere on site.
  • Continuously inspect areas to eliminate contamination risks.
  • Leadership responsibilities

    Supervise Maintenance employees end-to-end : hire, train, assign work, evaluate, reward, and discipline. Address complaints and resolve problems in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

    What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (related field).
  • 3–5 years of proven leadership over a maintenance team in manufacturing or food processing.
  • Language : Read / analyze business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and regulations; write reports and procedures; present to varied audiences.
  • Math : Add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rates / ratios / percents; interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning : Define problems, gather data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions; interpret complex technical instructions and manage abstract / concrete variables.
  • Certificates / Licenses : None required.

  • Handle tasks with high cognitive demand and sound judgment.
