Histology Technician / Technologist - ASCP (HT / HTL) - Full Time

Day Shift / M-F

Sign-on Bonus up to $20,000

Are you a skilled Histology Technician or Histology Technologist seeking an exciting opportunity to contribute to diagnostic medicine? MLR invites you to join our team in Southern New Jersey and play a vital role in the field of histology. If you have a passion for precision, strong attention to detail, and experience in tissue processing and analysis, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities for a Histology Tech :

Process tissue specimens for histological examination, including embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting slides.

Operate and maintain histology equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.

Perform routine and special staining techniques to enhance tissue visualization and aid in diagnosis.

Prepare reagents, solutions, and stains according to established protocols.

Assist pathologists and other healthcare professionals in the interpretation of histological findings.

Maintain accurate records of specimen processing, staining procedures, and quality control measures.

Qualifications for a Histology Tech :

Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Associate's Degree (2 year) or Bachelor's degree (4 year) in Medical Technology, or a related field of study.

Previous experience working as a Histology Technician or in a histology laboratory setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of histological techniques, procedures, and instrumentation.
