Senior Financial Analyst, Operations & Product Development (OPD)

Amazon is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operations Product Development (OPD) Central FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile team, working closely with executives and collaborating across various Product Finance and horizontal teams.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will drive financial analysis and reporting for key business initiatives, develop and maintain complex financial models, provide strategic insights to support decision-making, perform compliance controllership, communicate financial results and projections to senior leadership, and identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key job responsibilities

• Business partnering and presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
• Developing scalable and efficient financial processes as well as automation that support the business
• Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
• Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
• Coordinating and supporting forecast planning and month-end close processes
• Performing compliance controllership
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses and projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
