Oncology Social Worker - State Licensed

A company is looking for an Oncology Social Worker for a remote position with an 11 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 PM EST shift.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support to patients and families

Identify and connect patients with relevant community resources to address complex social needs

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and address social or emotional barriers impacting treatment adherence

Required Qualifications and Education

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program

Valid and current master's level license in the practice state (e.g., LMSW, LISW, LCSW)

Preferred certifications include OSW-C or APHSW-C

Minimum three to five years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or palliative care

Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
