Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient)

Position Description : Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview managing youth and / or adult outpatient psychiatric services. The candidate will work as a physician extender to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. The incoming Psych NP will work in collaboration with physicians and APP's to assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols. This candidate in collaboration with a therapist, will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical examinations in the outpatient setting for the youth and / or adult population, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, completing medication management and making referrals for specialty consultations and care. Prior experience is not required as Oswego Health welcomes new grads.

Compensation and Benefits :

• Highly competitive salary (base salary range of $137 - $145k)
