Biomed Equipment Worker ( Entry )-Mount Sinai Morningside

Moves equipment, in need of repair or preventive maintenance, from user areas to Biomedical Engineering facilities

Qualifications

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED

• Minimum of three years experience in biomedical position required.

Teamsters Local 810 at MS St. Luke's - Fabricators & Warehousemen (IBEW), BGB - Biomedical Engineering - STL, Mount Sinai St. Luke's

Responsibilities

• Moves equipment, which has received service, from Biomedical Engineering facilities to user areas

• Cleans equipment, including, but not limited to, exterior surfaces, wheel sand casters, IV poles, cases, filters, and stands and mounting brackets

• Performs electrical safety tests, including all necessary documentation, on all equipment serviced by the Biomedical Engineering department

• Performs simple repairs, including, but not limited to, power plug and line cord replacement and mechanical work

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $35.6652 - $35.6652 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
