Senior Underwriting Consultant

A company is looking for a Sr Underwriting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities :

Underwrite complex facultative risks in accordance with underwriting guidelines

Provide prompt, efficient service while offering technical expertise and support to clients

Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to product design and business development initiatives

Required Qualifications :

10-15+ years of experience in Individual Life underwriting

Deep expertise in medical terminology, insurance law, and risk-based accounting

Proven ability to underwrite complex, high-net-worth cases

FLMI or FALU designations, or significant progress towards obtaining these or other related industry designations

Bilingual French / English (oral and written) is an asset
