Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of their databases.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement high-performance database schemas and strategies for data partitioning and replication

Monitor database performance and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans

Collaborate with development and SRE / DevOps teams to enhance database efficiency and automate management tasks

Required Qualifications :

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ

Experience with high availability, replication, clustering, and sharding

Proficiency in SQL and PL / pgSQL

Knowledge of monitoring tools for databases

Understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
