Familiarity with 2-way subscriber products (preferred). Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Type : Contract through 12 / 31 with possible extension or conversion
Location : Elgin, IL
Pay Rate : $25 / hr
Shift : 1st Shift (6 : 00 AM – 2 : 15 PM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Analysis Technician to join our team on the 1st shift at our Elgin, IL facility. This role focuses on board-level analysis of failed mobile and portable 2-way subscriber radios. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment and simulators.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electronic issues; define corrective actions.
- Identify vendor vs. process defects and document findings in detailed failure analysis reports.
- Record and communicate failure data and diagnoses clearly.
- Work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
- Support factory operations on weekends as needed.
