About the Role

The Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Internal Medicine to lead its department in a vital and influential role. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal part in providing clinical care to a diverse patient population, including those at a tertiary safety net hospital, a Level 1 trauma and burn center, and various primary and specialty care facilities. This leadership position calls for a collaborative clinician who is passionate about research, teaching, and enhancing community health initiatives.

The Director will oversee the management of primary care physicians and on-site consultations, while also maintaining a robust scholarly presence focused on quality improvement and healthcare system redesign. To qualify for this position, applicants should possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, be actively board-certified or board-eligible, and have completed ACGME residency training. A proven track record in physician leadership and clinical responsibilities, along with a commitment to scholarly work, is essential. While not mandatory, additional training such as an MBA, MHA, MPH, or in clinical informatics will be considered beneficial. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong background in financial and strategic planning, as well as the ability to uphold the high standards of patient care and education that the company is known for.
