Job description

Fabrication Of Structural Steel Components- Estimator

  • ?Location : Cheltenham, Pennsylvania (On Site)
  • ?Compensation : $75-115K
  • ?An established and expanding steel fabrication company is seeking a Structural Steel Estimator to join its growing team. This position plays a key role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for Large-scale metal fabrication Projects
  • ? Key Duties
  • Analyze engineering drawings and interpret specifications
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Collaborate with engineers, shop foremen, project managers, vendors, and customers
  • Source materials and obtain vendor quotations
  • Generate purchase orders and assist with bid proposals
  • Support estimating for fracture-critical work and complex fabrication projects
  • Participate in meetings to define project scope and requirements

✅ What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural steel estimating (required)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Hands-on steel fabrication or erection experience
  • Knowledge of AISC standards and industry codes
  • Experience using estimating software (such as Tekla)
