POSITION OVERVIEW

The Retail Attendant reports to the Outfitters Manager and is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Outfitters store, ensuring the space reflects the high standards of excellence our guests expect at South Seas. This newly remodeled retail outlet offers a wide variety of apparel, accessories, souvenirs, outdoor gear, and kayak-related merchandise. We are looking for an energetic, guest-focused individual who is passionate about creating exceptional shopping experiences and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and well-organized environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team setting, enjoys connecting with people, and brings enthusiasm and positivity to every interaction.

RATE OF PAY full-time, hourly position at $20 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Retail Clerk provides service excellence by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the retail space (i.e. Outfitters, Provisions, Spirits), showing requested merchandise in display cases, entering guest purchase information into the ticketing system and / or point of sale system, collecting and processing payment and returning applicable change following established procedures.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

HOURS REQUIRED 40 hours a week; flexible schedule; days and times may vary based on need including weekends and / or holidays.
