Senior Tax Accountant

$80,000-$100,000+Bonus

Plymouth Meeting PA

As a Senior Tax Accountant you’ll work on client engagements in a variety of industries and lines of business, assist on larger client engagements, and perform most work assigned with a minimum level of assistance. You’ll get the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by leading staff, instruct them in work to be performed, review the work completed, provide feedback, and direct necessary revisions.

Responsibilities :

  • Providing individualized support to a variety of entrepreneurial businesses and individuals.
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and other tax returns.
  • Provide technical advice, tax and business planning support.
  • Produce clear and precise workpaper documentation.
  • Use excellent judgment and analysis to make recommendations to clients during year-end and general tax planning
  • Provide feedback to Managers, Senior Managers and Shareholders
  • Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines for multiple clients.

Background :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business required, a Bachelors in Accounting preferred
  • 4+ years of tax preparation experience preferably in public accounting
  • Licensed CPA, EA or CMA license or working towards obtaining preferred
  • Master’s in Tax is a plus
  • Understanding of Federal and State tax laws and regulations
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Team player
  • Ability to think innovatively
