PLEASE READ CAREFULLY : Hospital : Methodist Texsan Hospital Location : San Antonio Unit : Physical Therapy (762) Classification : OT or PT Shift Detail : 8A-5P Building / Floor / Suite information of unit : General Information Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed : Quantity : Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift / Workdays : 8A-5P Weekend 2 Weekend shifts a month Call Requirements : To be discussed during interview Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrs. Special Skills / Experience required : 2 Years + Other Helpful or Misc. Information :

  • All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy
  • Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing : Start time is no later than 8 : 00 a.m. Must work two weekend shifts a month will have day off during the week Documentation system : Meditech Floating policy : As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set : Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Must have In-Patient Rehab and / or hospital experience Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first) 2-3 Years of experience in Rehab and / or acute hospital. Bilingual (English & Spanish) NDT or brain injury certifications Specialty / Unit Certifications Required : (PHYSICAL THERAPIST) Active PT License no Temp License allowed Procedures performed on unit : In-patient Rehab Occupational Therapy neuro and ortho patient evaluations & treatments Acute (Ortho, Tele and ICU) evaluations & treatments Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o PT / OT : Sage green / olive scrub top, black scrub pant, sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only Nail Policy Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible.
