General Statement of Responsibility

A professionally certified CDL driver who has a tanker certificate and is certified to haul product to a customer. Must be a safe driver and always courteous to our customers.

Major Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Maintain and inspect tractors and trailers in roadworthy condition and safe
• While in transit, focus on safety
• Obey DOT / Traffic regulations
• Navigate routes and through traffic
• Deliver production to customers door and pump product of the trailer as directed by customer
• Monitor deliveries to ensure there are no spills of product and / or changes to product in transit
• Pick up and monitor the filling of alcohol to be delivered to the plant from the rail terminal (or vender facility), as directed
• Maintain e-logs so that all drivers are in compliance with DOT regulations
• Verify shipment paperwork to ensure consistent quality of delivery
• Use of certified scale house to ensure proper weight of loads

Qualifications and Skills

Education : High school diploma or GED. Current Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement

Experience : Clear driving record that meets DOT requirements, Hazmat Certification Required, Minimum 21 years of age, 100,000 miles driving experience or completion of a certified truck driving school, 2 years recent OTR experience preferred, Experience in the bulk tanker industry

Skills : Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs. on a regular basis, Ability to use a ladder or work from heights as needed, Ability to move large equipment (Tractor / Trailer / Etc), Ability to sit for extended period of time, Ability to give complete attention to detailed work, Ability to work alone

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
