Construction Assistant

We are currently seeking a Construction Assistant to work on our Mammoth Lakes, CA project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Superior ability to manage commitments- make requests, hold promises, gather assertions, provide assessments
• Create, maintain and enforce a safe jobsite environment
• Perform Subcontractor Safety Orientation
• Assist with laborers as needed (physical labor involved)
• Assist in production, maintenance and execution of project
• Assist with compliance of the budget
• Assist in supervision and coordination of construction activity, including those of trade contractors
• Ensure project materials and workmanship meet company quality standards and design requirements
• Review building plans
• Maintain SWPPP labor as needed
• Assist Superintendent with inspections and other physical tasks
• Install guardrails
• Adjusting side logistics as needed
• Assist with QC
• Track Equipment
• Assist with deliveries
• Enforce safety including installing, maintaining and repairing safety measures
• Enforce daily housekeeping / clean as needed
