About the role

We're looking for exceptional engineers who want to build a better search engine for X. The team is responsible for the full end to end search system at X including ranking, retrieval and user experience.

What You'll Do

• Build search and retrieval algorithms that scale to millions of users
• Build and operate large scale search engine and search infrastructure
• Train state of the art ML ranking models
• Integrate Grok in search systems and products

Interview Process :

After submitting your application the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview ("phone interview") during which a member of our team will ask questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, next will be a 1-hour, virtual Coding Interview / Challenge. The final stage of the process will be 2 Technical Assessments onsite at our HQ in Palo Alto.

Location

The role is based in Palo Alto. Candidates are expected to be located near the Bay Area or open to relocation.

Annual Salary Range

$180,000 - $440,000 USD
