We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team. This role involves driving feature development, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful onboarding of new business units. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in custom software development within Agile environments, coupled with a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct user interviews and create detailed user stories to support feature development and product enhancements.
- Manage task tracking and workflow processes using tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Oversee manual quality assurance testing to ensure product functionality and reliability.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies to maintain project momentum and team alignment.
- Work closely with internal teams to support onboarding of new business units.
- Provide consistent updates and reports to leadership regarding project progress and key milestones.
- Identify and address project risks, ensuring timely resolution to maintain project timelines.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Support the transition and integration of new systems where applicable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
- Proven track record as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, focusing on custom software development.
- Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and creating user stories.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Solid experience with manual QA processes to ensure software quality.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and business teams.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- IT project management experience is highly desirable.
