A respected law firm located in Springfield, MO, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their dynamic litigation and transactional practice. The firm handles a wide variety of legal matters, including commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, UCC law, and more. Duties

Handle both litigation and transactional matters involving commercial finance, bankruptcy, mergers, and acquisitions.
Represent clients in federal and state courts, including managing cases related to corporate reorganizations and disputes.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Conduct legal research and assist with discovery processes.
Participate in contract negotiations and settlement discussions.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in all phases of client representation.
Continuously develop legal expertise, especially in commercial litigation and bankruptcy law.
Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues, and partners.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active Bar admission or eligibility to sit for the February Bar exam.

Experience in commercial litigation, transactions, or bankruptcy law is preferred.

Proficiency in legal research and writing with the ability to communicate complex legal issues.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience in drafting legal documents and motions.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new legal areas.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to respond to urgent legal matters as they arise.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
