We are looking for a qualified full-time (32+ hours / week) Dental / Surgical Assistant to assist in an oral and maxillofacial surgery office. The right applicant will have a compassionate and outgoing personality with a willingness to learn. Hours of operation are 8 : 30-5 : 30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There will be some Wednesdays required during the year, as well.

Responsibilities

• Help Dentists prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place
• Help keep a patient’s mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand Dentists the necessary tools at the appropriate time
• Patient education; explain procedures and discuss post-operative instructions
• This position will include all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery
