Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Grading Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This will be a full time, field-based role based out of Marietta, GA, reporting to our Shop Manager. The majority of the time this work will be performed out in the field, with some of the work also being performed in the shop itself. Weekend work is a must with this position, as well as day shifts.

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

SUMMARY / JOB SCOPE :

The Grading Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the diagnostic and repairs of the Companys grading equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining and repairing grading equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Motor Graders,

Fuel Systems,

Cutting edges,

Troubleshooting breakdowns

Oil changes

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This job operates in a busy shop / garage setting. The role routinely uses standard shop equipment such as tools, lifts, compressors, jacks, jack stands, oil drain and oil caddies, battery chargers and jumpers, engine hoists, brake lathes, presses, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. Weekend hours are required as well.
